Is myspace safe?

2. honestly, it depends on your situation. if you purposly give out your information, keep your profile public [not private or blocked others], and talk to people you dont know, then no it is not safe. but if you keep your profile private, block unknown people, and keep your important information to yourself, then it will be very safe and you'll enjoy just talking to your friends. I think its wrong that so many people are against myspace when its nothing wrong for normal people to just talk to friends. Its not our problem that kids talk to strangers and then have to accept the concequences and continue being in danger.

All strangers get are a small icon of my default, where I live (which I don't even have to put or can make up), and my current mood. You don't even have to have your last name on there. Myspace is as safe as you allow it to be.

Yes and No. First, you can set it to where only your friends can see your profile, and then you can feel a little safer about it, but be careful, because that whole idea doesn't work if you accept anybody as a friend. Don't put anything on there that you wouldn't tell a random stranger on the street.
