A good place for a first date? ..6 flags? zoo? museum?

We're both 18...Although he's a 1st year college student..we're both pretty down to earth and up for anything...Usually, I tend to be the traditionalist and have guys do all the initiating; however, since it's my birthday in a few days- I figured I'd do the honors =p We'v'e been talking a lot lately and what not, but we've never hung out before... I was thinking of going out with him and some friends first and then doing something with just the 2 of us after...? I've always thought of movies and the whole dinner thing as cliche` and boring...So I was thinking maybe...going into the city or something (Chicago 6 flags? ..But I don't like roller coasters, but still a lot of fun if you're with a group The zoo??? I don't know- i mean so many people think it's really childish, but I think it'd be so much funw ith a group- gives time for a lot of talking and bonding i guess... The museum of Arts and Sciences- Too geeky??? but very interesting... Which do you think? Any other suggestions?

1. Depends on what your interests are. If you and your guy like art & science - why is that too geeky? To me the zoo is Borrrring. I'd much rather go to the museum of A&S. However, you can go anywhere and have a great time if you're with someone you like and who is interesting.
