what can i do to find common ground with this girl? she is in 8th grade and i'm a sophmore, so the problem is clear. what common ground is between us, and what are good things to talk about?
Answers:
1. 7 hours ago alright secondly, shes 14 and im 15, besides the label of 8th grader theres nothing but roughly 2 years between us. we've already talked about it and she's definetly mature enough, so i'd appreciate if people stopped judging and criticizing me and gave me advice.
2. 7 hours ago thirdly, the school she goes to is 7th and 8th grade only, so its not like im hitting on someone whos learning their abcs;
3. what u ppl have in common
4. your both in school
5. I know it's only 2 years, but you are too old for her.
6. One thing you better do is run like hell. She is under age and by that you can go to jail.
7. Ask her what things she is into. If it's the same as you, talk about it.
8. umm well if you guys should be together some common ground will surface eventually
9. Wait tell this girl is in High school. She is too young to be dating you, even if it is only 2 years. Once you are a senior, and she is a sophomore, thats totally different, and you will have more in common with her.
10. There is no common ground between you two. She's way too young for you and you should know better. She's probably not even old enough to date.
11. I say find a girl in your own grade just so that way there isnt that akwardness.. but if you really like this chick then i say music, movies, hobbies, activites, dreams/goals.. that kind of thing
12. That just can't be answered, if you are asking in here - ask yourself how good are you for her in the first place.
Don't try to be liked, let them like you.
You can have all the common ground you want but that isn't just everything. If all you want is to ask her out, just get some nice argument to start your conversation (keep in interesting), don't look at her, act as if you were not interested in her, let her become interested on you. It's simple, twist it.
13. Do you both like sports, art music and movies. Girls enjoy a boy who likes what they like.Though she is younger than you, It doesn't mean you have nothing in common.Try to find out what she likes, and go from there
14. well, shes in JR. high. She goes to schools with 6th graders, And you'r in highschool you go to school with 12th grade people.
I hate to break it to you but, just be your self and if shes not in to you forget it. I bet theres TONS of other girls worth worring over
15. Pets chicks loves pets
16. if i were you i would see what she likes and then ask for date.she is going to find that you be a good pe4rson.thats how i found my first bf
17. If you don't know what you have in common with an 8th grader, you should move on. You are in two different worlds, and it should stay that way.
18. Probably would be good to introduce yourself first, exchange names. But, before you do this, may I suggest you watch a movie called Pretty In Pink. Great pic to help understand the differences in people and what to do.
19. well, its a big age diffrence, but i've seen worse. maybe you should wait a few months till shes a freshmen. You would have more in common then! but if not try sports? orrr movies, tv shows, music, things you like, be your self.
20. I don't know you or her so I don't know. How did you meet? It's going to be hard dating someone who is in middle school when you are in high school, you know that right? There's obviously something you like about her personality...do you like the same things she does? It should be that hard to find common ground with someone...if you have nothing in common with her then why bother?
21. lol maybe you should back off for a few years ,until there is something to talk about, then u can tell her about how u had a crush on her wen she was younger
22. hmmmmm, well 8th grad e is way to young for u dude!!!! i would just find another sophmor or freshmen!!!!!
23. Don't ask us ask her. You have to talk to her and find out what her interests are. I'm sure once you talk to her you will find that you have something in common. Ask her about what she likes to do in her free time, what are her favorite movie, books, singers, etc.
24. do her while shes still fresh bro
25. talk to her, and see what she likes to talk about
