hey guys, hope everyone is having a great october!
i am at a crossroads. i love the man i'm with, but the guy i've loved since i was 18 finally told me how he felt, and he's with someone too. apparantly he feels the same way i've felt.
i am having a hard time dealing with this. i am trying to spend more time with the guy i'm dating, and focusing on his positive qualities because he has many and is such a good friend to me, but i guess it's just tough sometimes.
how do you guys deal with things like this? i am trying to do more things, like learn new songs on my guitar and start walking and as i said, spend more time with the one i'm currently with. i can't help but feel very sad right now.
i know you should just move on and that's what i'm trying to do because i know i've got it good right now, but really, what else is there to do? thanks guys, i look forward to hearing from you!! :-)

i should add, he's been in and out of my life as a great friend for 10 years, and we have chemistry like we've never expierenced with anyone but we've never done anything about that since we were always with someone else and we're not cheaters. he's one of my greatest friends but for one reason or other it's just never worked out. after he told me that i feel like i've had closure, but it's still sore in a lot of spots, and i'm trying to move past that to enjoy the one i'm with. how does that happen? they say 'move on' but it's not always easy. i guess it takes time? what do you guys to to move on?

4. You need to true to yourself your feelings and the guy you are with if not you wil continue to be sad. I was in your situation i was in love with 2 guys and i didn't know which one to choose and i went back in forth in my decision and in the end i almost lost both of them. In the end i choose the one who treated me right who had always been there for me and even though i cheated he still loved me and accepted me for who i am, i choose the one i had the most feelings for and the one that i know i could have a future with. I choose the guy that made me happy that made me laugh when i was down and let me cry like a maniac and still tells me i look beautifull lol. The other guy you are talking about he is in a relationship and if he loves you more than the other girl he should be honest with her and let her goe instead of going behind her back and telling you he loves you. And if you love him more than the one you are with you should do the same. Think about it wouldn't you rather the person your in a relationship with tells you the truth and breaks up with you instead of leading you on and lying? 5. yes...I think love stinks sometimes also....
like there are times guys like you...but you just don't like the guy that much..you try to...but feel something is missing....sometimes they are just not as cute as some other guy....(looks matter....because of attraction....)or it can be anything...some guys...just seem to get in your heart more than others....
...and sometimes it gets harder if the guy you really like is not available to you...seeing someone else...or just not interested in you...like you are in them....
...but don't settle...don't stay with a guy if you are not really liking him...better for you both....
