Last week I ran into an on again off again ex at the gym that I dated for 2yrs. This was the first time I saw him in like 3 months since I planned on becoming serious with someone else. Well my plans fell through with the other guy (he broke up with me 2 months ago) so now I'm single. The run in at the gym went well and he seemed pretty excited to see me. He even winked at me on the way out. I still have feelings for him and am feeling much better now that some time has passed since my previous breakup. I would like to be friends with my on again off again ex and maybe more if things go well as friends but am not sure how I should go about this.

I am a lil skeptical about this. Seeing that I am still recovering from a break-up with someone else and that the on again off again ex and I did breakup already. Since I saw him I haven't called or anything. It's complicated. One of the reasons we split was because of the other guy. I kept going back n forth between the two of them, see my previous questions for more details. Really, right now I would just like to have a friendship with him again but I do still like him.
2. Well you broke up with him twice for a reason, maybe you should really consider just focusing on staying friends.... move on.

To accept that you're for real
4. ask if he would ike to catch up over coffee/breakfast/luch/dinner. make it casual until you know how he feels. if he wants to give it another go, don't rush into it. it's like getting to know each other again.
5. you're next move must be to that gym again, the same time you saw him previous day. c'mon go for it. you told you still have feelings for him, and I think he has feelings for you too.
6. if u still have feelings for him y did u 2 break up? y r u on and off all the time? u 2 were together for a while so u know each other well and of course care for each other no matter what happens between the two of u. i dont know the guy off course but maybe he comes back to u when u doesnt have a girlfriend and once he finds a chick he is interested in he starts being a jerk with u so u 2 break up. maybe u just love his company. just make sure he aint using u. good luck
