I'm in the 8th grade alrite and i like my xx boyfriend again. i told him i liked him three weeks after going back to school. he surprised me with a hug. last week i wanted to ask him in person if he liked me but since we had parent meetings last week we got out earlier and had are schudule mixed up. so i hardly say him. i tried to call him and tell him but his phone number wouldn't go through. so on wednesday i wrote him a note asking him if he liked me or not. as i was walking to class someone put there hands on my shoulder and it was him. i gave him the note but i felt stupid because i really wanted to ask him in person. ever since that day last week he hasn't said a single word to me. which now i worry if i did the right thing on asking him that question because even though he always wants to hang out with me i feel that he likes me again to. but then again why is he taking so long to answer this simple question and why hasn't he talked to me. Did i do the right thing or not. help.

1. maybe he just has to think about it because I know that going out with someone is a big commitment.
2. You could really have waited for the perfect time to tell him what you feel. Expressing something delicate, especially matters of the heart, should be spoken directly to the person involved.

I think you should have waited a bit longer, then if he said nothing you should have told him.
4. He might have thought that the note was kinda immature. I sorta do, too. I just recently asked my ex if he wanted to try again, also. If you guys are friends, make it clear that if he doesn't want to, it's ok and you don't want it to hurt your friendship. Approach him soon before he settles on the wrong decision, but don't push for an answer. That would be a major turn off.
