Would a guy say "ewww" when someone say ask her out. If he really likes her but isnt sure if she likes him?

1. I would'nt I would just go for it.
2. im not a guy, but im sure a lot of them would do that, because they dont want to give away the fact that they like her.. ive done that before when a guy friend asked me if i liked this other guy (who i do like).. well i didnt say "eww" i just said no.. but same thing..
