Why do girls try to get pregnant when they aren't married to a guy?

1. they dont do it on purpose sometimes, but they could do thid cuz they love him and dont want him to leave her

2. I don't think that they're trying to trap a guy, although this is a VERY good question. I believe that at the time, hormones are in control, and they don't want to waste time going out to take the pill, they just want sex, there and right then. I don't believe that girls try to get pregnant either, it's just the hormones telling them Sex now, worry later.

3. a lot of times girls see a baby as an object and not a person, ergo abortion, a relationship that can obtain that for her can just be a method of getting that "accessory"-not thinking about the guy.

7. If the guy doesnt want her to get pregnant, he should use a condom. And if he's never seen her take a pill why would he just beleive her. Thats like beleiving that a guy is sterile just because he says so. I figure some women do it to trap a guy. Some do it because they want to get pregnant. And some do it because they dont like using condoms, but dont wanna scare the guy with the posssibilty of pregnacy

8. Most girls don't do this. Too bad the few who do give the rest of women a bad rap. I could turn this around and ask you why would a guy tamper with his girl's birth control to trick her into getting pregnant and lie about tampering with the condoms or pills. But since it seems the guy in question doesn't want the baby, then why in the hell would you sleep with a girl you wouldn't want to marry and have children with when you could easily keep it in your pants and wait for the right woman? Oh yeah, that's right... double standard.

9. 1. The girl thinks that she can get hold of the guy once he learns that she is pregnant. This is true but only for a matter of time. Usually guys would wait for the child to be born up to one month to one year (depending on the guy's patience and affection with the child, not the mother) and then leave the girl. Either he takes the child with him or lets the girl take care of the baby all by herself (with or without support). 2. She wants to get hold of (some of) his money. I'm referring to the child support that should be extended to the kid whether illegitimate or not. 3. For the weirdest of weird reasons, she just wants to have a "remembrance" from you. Perhaps, you have good genes that she wants her child to have too. 4. She simply wants to have a baby. She doesn't really care whether or not you stay with her and the child. She just wants to have a precious little one that she can call her own.
