I'm currently doing my master thesis, which I m stuck in it. In addition to that, I was preparing to do the TOEFL test next Sunday, and I just feel panic for 2 reasons:
1- I just feel guilty for being stuck in my thesis. I'm blaming myself for preparing for the TOEFL test at this time. And thinking that it would be better to postpone it until i finish the whole thesis. Unlike what I thought that TOEFL preparation doesn't need a lot of time, it needs a lot of time actually. but i was thinking of applying for a university while i m doing the thesis, so as soon as I finish the thesis I start my PhD in the same year.
2- I m afraid of not scoring the required score. Which is 100 out of 120. Based on my reviewed test I'm doing I think I m going to score between 90-105. And if I'm lucky enough maybe 108.
The exam is only after 4 days. and i still have the chance to postpone the exam date -until 3 days before the exam day- the most possible reasonable option will be next 11-November.

1. 8 hours ago Don't be affected by the broken English i m using in the web. I m doing fine in the essay writing (5-6/6)... But the problem is that it is a costly test, and 1 point down (99/120) means i should do the test again.
2. Obviously you are not feeling very comfortable... and rightly so! Go ahead a postpone so that you can complete your thesis with 100% of your effort and study for your exam with the same amount of effort.
3. One thing at a time! You're stressed out and over- whelmed by it all. There's no shame in postponing the TOEFL test at this time, if you feel you need the time to finish your Master Thesis. Do what you feel you need to do.
Nothing to Fear, but Fear itself!
Good Luck
