Um..help????

I have gone to school with this guy for about 3 years I started talking to him this year, and I find him sooo hilarious and sweet. I don't know if this is true, but recently, I have heard he likes me. The thing is, I just want him to be my friend, nothing more. I have thought about going out with him and I just can't see myself with him that way. I'm worried that if he asks me out and I say no, people will think I am rejecting him because he's overweight. I'm really not like that, I just think of him more of a brother. I'm also worried if I reject him, he won't act the same with me anymore...what should I do?

Answers:

1. well just ignore it and tell him i think your sweet but i dont see me and u that way if he asked u out and if he dosent dont bring it up in a conversation

2. Maybe you can beat him to the punch. Shower him with kindness, but emphasize the platonic aspect. Make comments like, "you are like the brother I never had" Or, "I'm so glad we're friends, I would never want that to change." Or, make it known you have a crush on another guy. Etc.

3. Well I have been in this situation once or twice, the thing is if he does ask you out, it'll never be the same again, llike old times and yeah I know it sucks because you know he was your friend and now hes your friend but not really. Just talk things with him and tell him you don't like him that way he should understand if he is a really good friend..

4. tell him you just want to be friends!

5. The thing to do is one not worry about what people think. I mean they can they whateer they want and they may even ASSume but you know what that makes them hint with the capital letters. And some people are not meant to be more than a friend I meanit's better to let him know now than to try to deal with him and then string it along when you know it's not going anywhere. That would be cruel and far worst for the both of you. And really your friendship won't be the same.
