This may seem hypocritical, but i have this friend (shes probably my best friend) but no one likes her because they think she is rude, and they think that i am rude because I hang out with her. She is kind of annoying too so how can i loosen our friendship so that I can make some other friends. Normally I am a nice person who everyone likes but it seems that since i ppl know im friends with her, they automatically assume i am rude, but it is just her. Because she says whatever she is thinking, without thinking before she says it. LOUD MOUTH anyways, i need some new/different friends so how can i get new friends, and loosen our friendship up

1. When you are hanging around this girl make it obvious that you are not one in the same. Show your individuality. If she is loud and rude make a point to say something to show you do not feel that way. You don't have to put down what she says, but put a different spin on it. If she was saying, "wow. that girl is so ugly." You can say, "well, i think she is pretty." Etc. If you are her best friend you would not be embarrassed of her. Be secure enough to know that anyone who knows you should know you are not the rude one.
2. That's happened to me once! I ended up starting to hang around these other people and eventually she got the point that we weren't as close as we used to.
3. Why don't you tell her about her weakness so she can do something about it instead of breaking your friendship. Probably.no one has hinted that to her and she thinks it is OK If you are a true friend you will help her.
