I have acne scars / acne on my back, so it makes it hard for me to find a wedding gown that'll cover my back but still look nice. Can anyone help me? What's your personal experience? I really don't like those old fashioned ones where it covers too much.
But maybe back facials? Do those work well? Thank you.

1. Your veil will probably help to cover this a lot more than you think. My friend had the same problem at her wedding and was freaking out until someone pointed this out.
2. Find places on the internet about Acne scar removal. If you lived in California around the Santa Cruz/Santa Clara area, I would suggest Sona Med Spa.
3. have you heard of pro active ...ask at your pharmacy.....apparently its great stuff.................or you can ask the person that is doing your make up on the day of the wedding to cover it up...good luck
4. maybe a sheer bolero over top tiny sleeves and just below bust
5. There is some kind of thing called 'bio oil' that reduces the appearance of scars. Ask at the pharmacy for it. Also get the make up person to put a light layer of foundation over your back. Also, you can have special treatments at beauty therapists that can also reduce scars. Good luck.
6. My friend had really bad acne on her back, she used nutrogena(sp) facial stuff on her back and also scrubbed with those back scrubbing lufa things it really worked. But she was still self concious and she bought a lace jacket.

7. Proactive is amazing stuff. My stepmom had adult acne all through until her 40's (really bad with perscriptions and everything) and my stepbrother had it really bad too. My real brother had acne but not as bad.
All three of them and once we tried this stuff their skin cleared right up! I've been using it to keep away the acne caused by taking perscription steroids and it works wonders.
8. Try some of the products the other people said or go to your doctor and tell them what is happeing and what you want. Docs are usually pretty good with these things for weddings. My friend had acne on her face and she was prescribed skin steroids for 2 weeks before the wedding and was radiant, glowing and completely smooth on her wedding day. However this is not a long term solution.
If you have the money you could also have IPL therapy which is a laser that remove scars and generally gets rid of acne and is permanent.
