1. You didn't really pose a question here. How can you dislike that he chose that when you are considering it yourself? It's not about what you like or want really. He obviously wants to be in the military, so it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of it. If you go in, know that you will most likely be seperated and not have the same duty station.
