My husband and I will be married 14 years next week and we were wondering what we could do to celebrate that would not cost a lot of money and for those of you that just recently celebrated your anniversery what are some things you did that made it memorable? Thanks for the answers:)

1. Definitely try going to a fondue restaurant. You can get a meal for 2 for about $100 bucks at those places (like Melting Pot). It's yummy!! It's obviously not a dirt cheap meal, but it's special enough to only do on certain occasions. If you're looking for cheaper options, try a picnic with some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. You can watch the sunset or just have a fun afternoon at the park or beach. Simple things can be fun!
I usually celebrate by going to delicious restaurants and spending a little more than usual ;)
CONGRATULATIONS! It's nice seeing people celebrating a longer-than-average marriage.
2. It depends on what you and your husband's personality is and what you think is too expensive.
My husband and I just celebrated our 17th anniversary and I booked a cabin up in the mountains, this cabin had a jacuzzi type bathtub in the livingroom. There were big cedar trees all around and a trail for hiking. We only stayed one day so we couldn't do much but in the vicinity I believe there was a lake for fishing and horseback riding. We also had a lovely dinner. I had a great time.
