Will time heal my relationship problems?

So this past week I have been talking to my Ex which I havent talked to in 2 years. However,.......he got really mad when I sent 15 text messages in one day....and said sorry but he doesnt want me in his life anymore and he was going to change his number. Well he didn't change his number but could he forgive me. So If I waited 3 months to contact him do you think he wouldn't be mad anymore? Is it really that bad that I sent so many text messages? Could I be forgiven? Will time heal the wounds?

1. First off, I would like to say that 15 text messages in one day is too much when it was preceded by 2 years of silence between you two. I'm just going to say this here (because it doesn't really fit into the other stuff I want to say) is that he might not have text messaging on his cell phone plan, so you sending him 15 messages in one day could have added up to a nice extra charge on his monthly bill. Just throwing that out there. There is no magic formula that says that after x number of months, time will have healed all the wounds. It's all different for each person and for each different situation. There are girls I was friends with right after we decided to end the relationship, and there is a girl who I still don't talk to over a year after we broke up. If it was a nasty breakup or if hearts were broken, it'll take longer for those hearts to mend. So, if you decided to send your ex an email a few months down the road, that could probably work out. You just need to take things slow, rather than a surge of emails, texts, phone calls, etc. You need to have patience while your ex decides to let you back into his life. It'll take time and patience, but if you truly want this guy to be friends, you just need to take it slow and remember, even if texting is free for you, it might yield a fat fee on the other side, especially when an unexpected clump springs on you. Best of luck!
