i really like this guy but im not sure if he likes me and id be kind of embarrassed to ask him out. is it better in a note? hes pretty shy too and hes only with me iin one of my classes and in the morning... should i? im aslo really busy this year will that make me a bad committment person? should i wait?

8. Absolutely!!!! Believe it or not boys are usually the ones wiht more pressure because they have to ask you. Why not ask a boy?! Ha ha. It will be better for them anyway. Everybody is on the same boat when they ask people out!
9. It may not have been socially accepted 20 years ago, but it certainly OK now. As a male, I think it would be great to be asked out. Hey, I may get asked by a girl I hadn't considered before. It could be exciting. And as you mentioned, this guy is shy, so sometimes you have to bite the bullet and take the initiative.
Later in life, everything gets busy but you work it out. You may have to concede you will not have as much time as you would like, but quality makes up for quality anyway.
Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised.
