1. come on freshman, you are close to a fisherman. fish the chick on the hall way.
2. all you need is an introduction if you have any sophomore friend ask them if they know her and try to get some connections.
Or you could just ask what her name is and then complement her when you go , and be confident.

ok, just be mature (but dont overdo it) and just be nice to her... dont try to be crummy or anything, just be who u are, and try not to act all nervous and stuff around her... let her get to know u , then just ask if she wants to hang out some time, maybe not even on a date, just ask if she wants to go somewhere w/ u or something... eventually, she'll probably start liking u (unless she's already got a boyfriend or something... or unless ur just totally a jerk) THEN u ask her out
