My brother and his wife have a very unique wedding annivesary.They were married 2/29/00 and only have one wedding anniversary every 4 years. My sister-in-law told me that she hates having to celebrate anniversaries every year. So that's why they chose this very unusual date, because it comes only once every 4 years. This Feb will be their second wedding anniversary. They also chose thise date because my grandpa was also born on this day in 1928 (he is now deceased). They live several states away, and i want their anniversary to be memorable. Can anyone give me some ideas please. I'm coming up with nothing.

The second traditional wedding anniversary was cotton. The modern anniversary is china. I would suggest either might be appropriate.

7. That's really something that they should do for one another. I would just call and congradulate them. If you must get them a gift, send them a gift card to their favorite restaraunt.
8. Send them a large food gift basket, with wine - so they have a romantic picnic on their special day. Napa Valley baskets has a great selection
9. Quadruple the gifts. :) A set of 4 of something they love to eat or CDs of music played in their wedding, etc.

Start a tradition of gifting them with Frog stuff (Get it? Leap year?! Yeah... im sorry) My mom had a car that looked like a pig, and my aunt started giving her gifts for every occasion that was somehow related to pigs. We had Pig mugs, pig figurines, pig clocks, pig artwork, pig sculptures, pig stickers, pigs pigs pigs! Might be fun to do that with Frogs!!

11. Well, considering their date is very unique, maybe something that corresponds with their date! I have seen those books about your birthdate in history, I think they have them for wedding date history too! It would be fun to see what other events occurred on their wedding date. I'll try to find a link to something like this.
