james is one of my best friends, and he is in a relationship with rina, who is also one of my friends. he told rina that he thinks im annoying and that he think that his friend mike likes me, and he told her that he doesnt like the fact that mike likes me and he thinks its wierd. and he thinks that i like mike back. when he started thinking this he stopped talking to me for a few days, and he's never done this before. and then today he finally said hi to me. and i was like so you think im annoying? and hes like noo i dont think that im sorry and stuff. and then he was like i dont know its just ackward because of mike. and i was like how is it awkward because of mike? and he said that he cant tell me. im soo confused what could this mean? what does he mean by this? and whenever i talk to mike he keeps on looking at me. i dont know, i dont think he likes me because he has a girlfriend. but im not sure... what do you think?

When I read this, I can hardly get past the very bad wording. But I did and you have a very valid question.
What I think about the situation is that you should approach Mike and ask him what's going on. But then again - does it really matter? Have you behaved inappropriately? It doesn't sound like it to me. It sounds like you have been you and James taken a different look at you... and he's liked what he's seen. And because he's seeing you differently, he needs to make some decisions.... is what he's seeing in you a strong enough feeling that he end his current relationship with Rina?
Or does he just attempt to pretend that he hasn't really noticed that you're something special?
Be strong. Don't let what other people think of you make you something you're not.
Don't over react. Don't assume. Don't lose a friend just for a possible boyfriend.
