Wedding Invitations?

I need some serious help here! We are poor college kids with a lot of family. We are inviting about 300 people. I have been shopping around for wedding invitations and I can't afford any of them! I hate the printable ones you can get at wal-mart and I'm just not very artistic. Does anybody know where I can buy super cheap but nice (online) invitations! My colors are light pink and chocolate brown. Please help!

Answers:

1. try michaels. or ben franklin.

2. http://www.yourethebride.com/discount_in...

3. check a craftstor for blank pieces of decorative paper that coordinate with your colors. you can then type up the information on Word and then print onto the nice sheets of paper. thats what i did for my graduation announcements. you can pick through all the nice fonts and make it exactly what you want. and you can add a little ribbon to make it pop :P

4. Target in the card section, definately. The cards RULE there. i think their only... 1.00-2.50. Hope I helped and have a AWESOME wedding.

5. Can't you find someone to help you do the ones you do yourself? They can turn out really pretty. I got one recently, printed in brown ink on beige and brown paper and it had a ribbion tied around it, it was just one piece of paper. See if a friend who is more artistic can help you with an idea.

6. i have a better thing for you. why don't you go to 123greetings.com and search for wedding invatations then pick the card you want to mail then mail it to everyone!

7. wow 300 people no one has photoshop at your school. so much cheaper doing it yourself just buy paper and print it out yourself. that is what we did came out better than the ones at the store. if u do not know what to say google wedding invites or go to a store like paper source and u can get a free sample. spend money on your honeymoon not invitations. people take one look than throw them away

8. try this website, im not sure about the budget but they look pretty nice! http://www.invitationpaper.com/products....

9. I know you said that you hate the Walmart printable ones but I went to a Hallmark store and they have really nice printable ones. Mine looked like the ones in the book and I had them within 24 hours. I wish I had a scanner to send you a picture of them. They were normal sized wedding invitations and I bought the see through paper and put it over the invitation and hole punched two holes in the top and tied both pieces together with ribbon in my wedding colors. I got so many compliments on them and they were only .50 per invitation. I would go through your phone book and call the Hallmark stores and see if they have the printable ones and go pick one out. That was the best idea I had for my own wedding. I also went throught the expensive invitation books and picked out a perfect saying and they printed it in the font I picked out. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Good luck on your search.

10. ebay! http://cgi.ebay.com/300-pc-bellisimo-whi... Congrats & Good Luck with all the planning!

11. Even if you aren't artistic (me either) you can either take some paper and cut it in half so it won't be so big and on the paper make a light pink and chocolate brown framing and write in cursive "Wedding" in gold or silver and then the info.

12. This is a great site for cheap DIY invitations. http://www.envelopemall.com/ Just some advice, you might want to rethink inviting all 300 people, because I'm telling you now invitations are one of your smaller expenses.

13. I went on the net. found some samples of what i liked. copied and pasted.. reworded it a bit.. messed with the script a bit.. and voila.. free invitations. Then I went to kinkos and got some pretty paper and matching envelopes in one of my colors, and printed them on my computer. Cost:$:15.00 for envelopes and paper.

14. Good Luck.
