one tradition in Iranian weddings is that the bride n groom roll the tip of their fingers in honey and put it in each other's mouth. What is a wedding tradition in your culture?

1. 9 hours ago oh yeah i forgot to say indicate your culture too!
2. African--jumping the broom
3. Throwing rice at bride and groom after the ceremony. U.S.? European? Jordan almonds as a favor at the reception -- for fertility.
4. I'm vietnamese/cambodian.
On the day of the wedding there is a tea ceremony. The groom and his family/relatives come to the brides house with gifts wrapped in red clear plastic. The women on the grooms side stand in a line, holds the gifts and passes it to the women from the brides side of the family. After, everyone goes in the house and the ceremony is performed. Everyone then comes back to the grooms house where there is a get together before the actual reception. This happens early in the morning around 9 - 11am.
I'm Buddhist so its a bit different for those who are Vietnamese and Catholic/Christian because they'd go to church whereas we don't.
