Someone in my family can't make friends. I want to help them. But I can't find a way to help. How can this work? Please Help!
Answers:
1. Friends are easy to make. Some of the most useful places to make friends are:
1. Going to public libraries and ask the librarian if they have a booklet of any social or conversation club events coming up near the area. Ask them that you'd like to join some social event.
2. Ask your close friends. You may ask some of your classmates, your work colleagues, distant cousins, your mum or dad's friends and find out if any of them know about a social group they can join in.
3. Open up the yellow and white pages book. Look under "Community centers" and call them up.
4. You might know a place where you've probably seen some sporting activities near your area. For instance, you probably seen some people playing baseball or hockey games around there. Just go and watch a game there and he'll feel good by just watching the game.
5. A great place to make friends is call up two close friends of yours and ask them to go out for dinner with you guys. And you'll feel the difference that evening because you can then go for bowling, maybe a movie that night, and have some fun just talking.
Start digging some books, visiting library, looking at flyers. There are people out there also who want to make friends with you guys!
Hope this helps :)
2. Maybe you could try harder to be closer friends with that person. do more with them. maybe try to introduce them to some of your friends (unless there's a big age difference) i hope you can find a way to help! :-)
