My friend's b-day bash is in three days and I've been looking forward to it for months. A mutual friend/someone who shows interest in me is supposed to show up.
On my profile page, I got an unexpected, really disgusting picture posted from someone I didn't know. I decided to erase it, but then started to worry that others saw it, so I erased the entire tool. In the process, I erased two sweet msgs he wrote on my page. There is no way of getting this back.
I think I screwed up, I don't want him to think I'm upset... and I really want him to come on Friday. I probably won't get a chance to talk to him before Friday.... guys, would you overthink this like I am? :(

1. I wouldn't overthink it too much, just explain to him what had happened and im sure he'll understand.
2. Here is a safe route... delete all your messages!
This way, its not just his. And then, write something sweet on his profile!!

3. Overanalyzing can be a HUGE mistake. Don't worry about it, and just explain to him when you see him what happened.
4. Well, you erased the entire tool and not just his messages. You can shoot him an email...talking about something else, then mention.."hey, someone posted a disgusting picture on my page. Did you see it? I was trying to get it off because it was horrible and deleted everything. Your messages were really sweet but I lost them... I remember them though ;-) "
If he comes Friday, then cool. Even if he didn't catch the email, you can talk about it for about 3 seconds when he gets there. If he doesn't come because of your page...and doesn't check to see if things are sour between the two of you, then just wait, rebuild communication and see where you stand. Don't over-think it too much...Everyone's "much cooler on-line." Let real life decide.
5. I think he'll know your not upset when you see him on Friday, after all, he's hardly likely to not turn up just cos you deleted a couple of messages, besides, even if he does think you are upset with him he won't have a clue why so he will want to turn up on Friday so he can find out what he's done wrong and explain himself etc etc.
