i am 30 going out with a 47 year old. I really like him but my mother which she has never met him yet does not like the idea of me dating someone that old. We have fun together and enjoy each others company. Is he to old? He has never been married and i was married once and got divorced.

2. As long as you're comfortable with the relationship and can handle the comments (not just from your mother, but from others) don't worry about the age difference. Once you're past 30, it's a matter of how old you act instead of how old you are.

4. Age does not matter at all. I know a 26 year old woman that is in a relationship with a 40 year old man, no big deal & very happy together. What matters is if you love each other and make each other happy. Age is not important when you are an adult.
