so i have the biggest crush on this guy from my college. we're friends with benefits (minus sex) but i like him so much more. like today we had a class together and afterwards we went to lunch together and then back to his place where we kust took a nap together. we didn't kiss or do anything sexual...we just held each other. he kept asking me what i was thinking about but i obviously couldn't tell him but i've told him how much i like him a bunch of times. and everytime i see him i get "butterflies". how lame is that, lol. but he says he doesn't want a serious relationship right now but i want to fight it. it's so frustrating. advice? comments?
Answers:
1. Take it slow. Don't scare him off. He is honest.
2. Patience is a virtue. You could just wait for him or if you really want a serious relationship you could just find someone else.
3. I'd listen to him. He doesn't want a serious relationship! Funny how they send mixed signals though, huh? I'm in the same situation. Ask him why he doesn't want a serious relationship. Maybe someone hurt him pretty bad (a bad break up, his girl cheated on him, etc.).
In my case, my boyfriend doesn't want a serious EMOTIONAL relationship and yet he wants sex (Hello! Pretty serious emotions there, lol!)?! The two go hand in hand in my book! But he just got out of a 7 year marriage (she cheated on him) so that's understandable. Your guy obviously wants to talk, so get some conversation going before it gets really confusing!
