Im just wondering what you guys think should be more important, A teammate, or a boyfriend/girlfriend? And by teammate I mean a team you are really close to that you guys win state championships, and you guys are with each other all the time, and have known for a long time. Not some stupid team you join to keep busy. Like a teammate (remember the titans kinda team) or a boyfriend/girlfriend?
This is for highschool, or even college.
Answers:
1. I think your teammates would be more important than a boyfriend/girlfriend. Friends are something you need, but a relationship could hold off for just a little while.
2. honestly, it depends on if you are serious about your signifigant other. If you seriously like the guy or girl then yeah, they should be more important. the team will fall apart some day and yeah, youll have those friendships but unless you are interested in one of those people for a future life partner then they probably wont be around forever. The whole point of having a bf or gf is to find that persont hat means everything to you. So if you are just dating for fun then yeah, your team is first. But if you are looking for your soul mate, then they should always come first.
3. I'm not a team or anything but if I was it would be very important to me. I half to go wth bf/gf thow because thats someone you plan to spend the rest of your life with and have a family with and family and friends should be more important to anybody.
4. in my opinion, teammates are more important. because friends you need but a relationship you dont always have to have for every moment of your life.
5. Well for me sport is just a silly little bit of exercise, and never something I would take seriously enough to work my way up to state championship.
So I would always put the real relationship of a serious girlfriend over some guys in a team. But then I'd never have stayed with a team that long for feel obligated to them. State competitions and taking a game that seriously doesn't do anything for me.
6. if most of your teammates are like best friends, then put your teammates before your bf/gf. it wouldn't be fair because bf/gf's come and go and might not last forever bu you will always have your best friends to have your back and that sorta thing
7. i think both are very important and maybe you should try to include your grilfriend or boyfriend to the events or whatever you do with your team to avoid any jealosy
8. Both could be as important as each other.
Although I am not sure exactly what you are asking. Is it:
In College/High School should you have a boyfriend/girlfriend or join a team?
Or
If your boyfriend/girlfriend is a member of the team and not paying you enough attention is this right?
