I've always been the simple girl - not plain jane but someone who took care of herself that didn't need "mac" makeup all the time. I was kind of a tom boy growing up so i started getting into my "girlie" apperance when i was a senior in high school. In college, i learned to "relax" with my outfits - wearing things that were "comfortable" and not so much "pink" - hoodies, sweats and dunks :)
Now, I'm turning 21 (yeah not that old) and i find myself wanting and feeling more "posh". I'm still have my easygoing and friendly attitude but I love being my classy self - having a higher respect for myself but remaining humble and knowing who i am and where i come from. My tastes are changing - i LOVE designer bags (got it from my mom, i hated them in high school b/c i thought they were for snobby girls) but bags are more quality than quanitity. I loved the idea of dressing up but i now i WANT to do it more - high waisted pencil skirts, long cardigan sweaters - the trendy stuff now is very sophisticated yet sexy. My choice of perfurme are designer fragrances b/c it has a crip, settle smell and not "too much". I never wore too much makeup, very comfortable in my skin and just went out the house without any sometimes but now i HAVE to, just to AT LEAST look presentable..and it's not to impress anyone...i never really liked paiting my nails unless it was a special occasion but i now, i LOVE it and have to - what's wrong with me? Am i getting too high maintinence?

3. For a woman, yes.
4. i think that's totally normal! it happens to all my friends. i used to not like pink and purses and clothes and all that stuff, but now i do. same with my friends. don't worry!
5. no ur not becoming girle...well u are!
this exact same thing happend to me, i used to be kinda tom boyish but now i dont even leave the house without putting on lip gloss! i guess what i mean is that this happens to every girl but for some this happens early in life and others later, this is part of being a LADY!!
6. Maybe it's because your job isn't very sexy, you've gotta get it some other way. It sounds fairly normal to me. I think it's a sign of maturity, as long as you're not looking down on those who priss themselves up. There'll be people who will try to bring you down for doing it, but that's their problem, not yours.
Remember, just be yourself. Sounds cliche, but as long as you're doing your own thing and allowing others to do the same, you'll be fine!
7. it's about time.....congrats...to ya
