2. Hmm.. this question will probably have many different answers. However, I believe that love DOES start out from friends. Although, being friends before could actually ruin the relationship for reasons like, it's not what you were expecting , or you just had a better relationship as friends. But when you do start to love someone your friends with, that makes for a deeper relationship because you know eachother from many different levels.
