My Ex boyfriend and I dated for over a year. Hes a sophmore at Virginia Tech and I just graduated high school and moved to California with my family. Me and him decided that we would give it a break because we wanted to explore the single life and because I live so far away it was going to be hard to stay together. We agreed we are going to get back together and all of our friends have told us we are PERFECT together (and me and him agree) we are just in a bad situation and need time to be on our own before being together again. We basically still act like we are together we still say I love you and everything because we realllly do love eachother. I just dont get when its time to let go or if i should just let things stay how they are now. I think I know what i want, which is to wait but im interested in seeing what you guys think

1. well dont confine yourself to just talking to him make sure you talk to other guys and see what you think and if you find another guy go with what you think should be done
2. both of you should meet others,then if its meant to be you will get back together,and by going out now will make you stronger
