I agree that its so expensive that I don't even want to wear it!
I'm also worried because its a little loose! help!!
Answers:
1. If he has already given it too you then you can't do anything about it. Be VERY grateful. Don't tell him it was too expensive, you will seem unappreciative. Insure it right now if you haven't already and get it resized so it won't slip off your finger. Just love it.
2. Sit down with him and let him know how grateful you are, but do tell him your concern. Both of you deserve your honesty and he may share another view about it that you hadn't thought of or vice versa.
If you do decide to keep it, do insure it immediately and get it resized!
3. don't talk about it anymore, just have the ring resized and love it. saying that it costs too much would have the effect that you don't appreciate it.
4. If he can afford it accept it and enjoy it.
Tell him how grateful you are, but on the same time share with him your thoughts......
Honesty is the main thing in relationship !
5. I remember when my husband and I got engaged he spend 500 dollars on my ring and with what we were making I thought that was very extravagant and expensive. I would lovingly and kindly talk to your fiance and see about getting a ring with less money if you feel the cost is too much if the ring is loose get it sized properly 32,000 is a lot for a ring agree to keep the ring if he pays it off right away so you dont incur debt if that is what you choose you are very practical and wise I am proud of you. Congradualtions on your engagment.
6. Trade it in for a car. J/k Size it correctly and wear it. Obviously you were worth it to him
7. I didn't read your last post but it doesn't matter what he spends on you, it is the fact that he's bought it for you.
My engagement ring cost about £150 but I couldn't care a less if it was 50p, my husband chose it himself and it was a very good choice because I love it!
