So, i wouldn't say that I'm the most attractive guy around but I'm personable and people seem to like being around me. Heres what I've noticed. Couples only come together if both people are close to the same level of attractiveness. Personality does play a huge part but it seems that it can only go so far. What do you think? If a guy wasn't not good looking but was very funny and sweet would you date him.

3. Yes I would rather date a genuinely caring, funny, romantic, established man over one that is super hot and internally as dumb as a rock... Looks help but are only about 1/8 of what I judge a mate on...
4. Sigh. Put me into a spot.. ehh it really depends how he really looks, depends how uhmm not good looking he is.. But its the heart that counts, because i definetly don't want to be with someone who reallllyyyyy looks hot yet is rude and really mean to people. So i'll say funny and sweet..hey get to be his gf, and when your the gf or wifey, you can control them cant you lol, and change him into a better looking person, but still have that same sweet and funny personality, you know..? :]
5. for the first part of your question, yes you're right people do tend to gravitate toward people of equal physical attractivness. i've learned this in many psych and social psych classes. in that department, generally speaking, opposites do not attract.
if a guy wasnt good looking but was funny and sweet: well i'd have to be attracted to SOMETHING about him physically for me to notice in the first place. eyes, or smile maybe. but once i met him, and he is sweet and funny, i'd likely fall in love with those traits and that inner beauty would spread to other areas too. its like when you meet a very lovely person, then they talk and they're mean and that makes them ugly.
6. I work with the public and on the contrary, I usually notice really attractive, beautiful girls with overweight, average at best guys. I was actually talking to somebody about how it sucks that it is that way because then ugly guys hit on girls they can't get because they got lucky once. I am very superficial so looks are important to me but the people I consider "attractive" are by no means what society would consider attractive. Move to Tempe, AZ.... seems to be happening a lot here.
