i planned to have my engagement this year and my bro was married last june. im going to marry my gf next year. but my old folks told me that its better to have it by next year becuase of the thing called sukob. can this be considered sukob? please i need your advice.
Answers:
1. It is only considered sukob if you were to have 2 marriages in the same year.... my source is my wife who is from the Philippines where they do believe this nonsense
2. I think it is a little superstitious to think that having your wedding in the same year as your brother would be sukob. I think your parents may be overreacting.
