Is this how guys are? How would you handle this?

I am SO frustrated! My boyfriend is lazy! When we first started dating last year, he was so perfect and attentive and he told me all about the plans for us...marriage, kids etc. A few months ago he moved to Texas for his job and I am a few states away. Due to finances, I can't move until the end of Nov. I have noticed he will call me all the time for two weeks, then on the turn of a dime I wont hear from him for days. If I call him he wont return my calls. When I text him I am upset he will call. At first I suspected he was cheating, but its not happening. He told me he is depressed. So I am not sure if that is what is wrong. We had a long talk a few nights ago and he is positive he wants to continue our relationship but he is being so lazy and not making plans/effort on how I will move my stuff and where we will live etc. He told me on the phone he is going to start making plans, but he hasnt talked to me in two days. How would you handle this? I love him and am not ready to give up.

Answers:

1. How many red flags are you willing to ignore??? I certainly hope you don't end up marrying this guy.

2. Well, I can see that you two may have the chances to get together some day.. Just wait patiently, but don't just wait and do nothin' pray for him. Go to churches and ask the Lord to help you.. Ask the Lord for forgiveness and ask that He will bring your love back to you... Be calm and stay in touch with him... Do what is right and you will get what you want!!!

3. WELL, IF YOU GUYS ARE AS STRONG AS YOU SAY THEN YOU COULD HANDLE IT... AS FAR AS THE NOT CALLING, SOMETHING HAS TO BE UP... I WOULD JUST WAIT IT OUT UNTIL YOU CAN GET THERE WITH HIM... ANS YES, GUYS ARE LIKE THAT.... HE MUST BE OVERWHELMED.....

4. Well a woman's intuition is normally right. If you feel that he is distant 90% of the time your mind is telling you something that your heart doesn't want to handle. I have a friend that recently moved to Texas for another man and it took months before their relationship turned for the better. For you to ask this question you must honestly have some doubt yourself so if I were you, I would think twice about hauling across state lines for a man who hasn't talked to you in a couple of days and sometimes doesnt answer your calls. If you love him be strong and supportive of your man. What my mom always told me was that when you are tired or when you feel that you have had enough of a bad situation you will drop it without the opinion of others. As long as you need that opinion you are unsure so I say follow your mind and not your heart. Wouldn't want you to give up all you have at home for somebody elses night and shinning armour.
