Recently a girl and I have become good friends. We have friendly conversation at least once a day. For the past month I have been making slight hints to her that I like her. For example, helping her with homework, occasionally give her rides home, I gave her a nice package of girly looking pens,( I know it’s cheesy) and I make a clear effort to get talk to her. I have not mentioned to anybody that I like her but all my close friends can clearly see that I do. (Two have told me to ask her out). I want to ask her out but I can't tell if she feels the same way I do. She sends me mixed signals on her feelings for me. When I am alone with her we have really good conversation but, when others are around she ignores me until I talk to her first. (I can’t tell if she is embarrassed or just shy). Is there any way I can read her body language to tell if she likes me? (I can’t ask her friends, they are the smart shy type that wont talk to guys.)
