my friend taras is going out with this guy mike ... they been going for 3 1/2 yrs ..he buys her whatever she wants ..... but he has a drug problem and he lies alot about things and makes up stories but she dumps him he cries for mercy to get back with her he adores her but lies alot and has drug issues ....he takes very good care of her finacially ... hell give her the world when shes askes for it and bought a mercedes does she stay with him even though she still has feelings for her x fiance who was abusive .......

1. It sounds like this guy's been on a lucky streak for awhile, but eventually that luck will run out. The only thing you can really do is explain to her that this guy is only gonna drag her down with him....
She honestly sounds like she has poor choice in men (maybe she has daddy issues?? - not implying anything....)
She does need to ditch this guy, but you can't make her. You just have to be supportive, and at the same time, keep expressing your concern for her. If she ever does (HOPEFULLY) leave this guy, INSIST she take a sabatical from men for awhile so she can learn to love herself and stabalize, before jumping in to the dating game again. This way, she will know who she is, what she's looking for, and have a much better chance of finding a decent man.
