I hang out with a group of friend, and one of my friends is different you could say. He usually says pointless things and overreacts. My friends don't like him hanging out with us at lunch because he is weird. He still hasn't go the message that they don't want him coming around anymore. He is still my friend, but not my friends' friend anymore. Should I tell him anything?
Answers:
1. try convincing your other friends why they REALLY dont like him. or other than that, just tell him the truth and just go with the flow
2. Hi friend,
If you treat this friend of yours as a true friend, I think it's only fair that he gets to know the real truth about how your other friends perceived him to be. For all you know, he might not even be aware of this unlikeable trait. Give him the chance to change. Assure him the reason you're telling him this is because "you care" as a friend. Don't be surprised though if he reacted angrily. It's a natural response. But rest assured your words will "hit him" when he goes home and he's alone lying in bed at night. By doing that you've already done your part as a friend. The ball is in his hands now whether he wants to adjust or not..If only people can be more open & honest, there will be more arguements but lesser quarrels.
