thats pretty much it. its my first homecoming and i'm taking this girl i've known for a while. What i'm wondering is are you supposed to dance only with your date or is it normal to switch partners around?

1. In my opinion, you should. There could be some exceptions, I suppose, depending on the dances, ect.
2. That's why it's called a date! (Smacks forehead) Du!
3. yea it will be very rude if you didnt and if she leaves you to dance with some 1 else then you should do the same

5. Yea, it`s not required to dance with them the whole night. It's too boring. Switch partners throughout the dance, she'll understand.
6. You can dance with other people during like the fast songs but once that slow song comes on you better find your date. If she isn't able to be found or says she doesn't want to dance this one. THEN you're able to find someone else.
7. Depends on if she's really laid back...or like ...controlling I guess.
If you're dating then you should only dance with her, but otherwise I don't see why not (as long as she's okay with it)
