so everyone reckons i should be grounded.. :( im only on the computer coz my parents are out && for those who send things like lucky we werent on a bridge or the roof... the only reason i pushed her was coz it was a few steps

3. if I were your mom i'd ground you for a month and push you down the stairs.

4. Duh, yes.

5. ehhhhh if i was a parent i would ground my kid if she did that............... sorry but that's pretty dangerous.....

6. I think you shouldnt of pushed her but i dont think u shouldnt get in trouble for 2 weeks

7. Yes, that could have been really dangerous to your sister. But since i want the points, NO WAY UR MOMS TTLY UNFAER WUT IZ HUR PROBLEEM LOL RITE?

8. You did the crime, except the time...You could have hurt your sister even if it was only a couple of stairs...

9. It's never a grand idea to hurt or even potentially hurt anyone. You should be punished. It was a bad idea to push her, even if the fall was short. Next time think before you act and you may keep 2 weeks of your life free from being grounded.

10. Yep,what if she pushed you down the steps. Not so much fun.

11. LOL, so if you and your sister were standing on top of the roof and your sister asked would it hurt to fall off of the roof would you push her off?

12. Yes. What you did could have seriously hurt her. You should have known better. And if you are grounded, then why are you on the computer.

13. What were you thinking? You are 14 years old. Old enough if she had been seriously injured to go to the hospital the police would have been called. Care to explain how it happened to the police? She could have been seriously injured even falling down a few stairs. If she had of fallen with her leg behind her she would have ended up with a broken leg. You deserved a month I think. Be glad I am not your mom. A little girl who was you sister's age was pushed off the curb by her brother who was your age. She broke her arm. The family lived next door to us. I couldn't believe he did that to his sister.

14. Yes. At the age of 14, you should know better than to push your sister down the stairs. The point is not that she didn't happen to get hurt this time - the point is that she could have gotten injured and you should have known better.

15. Yes because you should have never puched her in the first place. And she could have gotten hurt. My friend lives when that eveyday she pushed her bother down just one step and he died he was 7 and she was 8 at the time she is now 25 and she dont know what want wrong that day. he land it the wrong way he and that was just one step.

16. hmm I'm 14 also......um maybe grounded for one night, but not tow that's a bit harsh

17. hell yea ur 14 and should know better and im only 16 so dont think i dont know how smart teens actually are

18. Yes you should. I even think your mom should revoke several privlages from you for longer than two weeks.

19. You need to ask?? You pushed your 8yr old sister down the stairs!!! YES!! You should be grounded - at least you wont do it again!

20. Yes, a 8 year old should not be pushed down the stairs, and at your age you should have known better. She could have had serious injury if she had landed the wrong way. like spinal, head or a broken bone. You should have told her yes steps are dangerous.

21. Yes! Being grounded is more than punishment, it is to teach you right from wrong. You can't go around pushing people down, regardless if its your little sister or not and the fact stands that she COULD be hurt! Your parents know what is best for you.

22. well yes.... even a small fall could be bad... common sense should be used next time

23. Yes, you should be grounded. Even though you were toward the bottom of the steps, your sister could have fallen in such a way as to have broken an ankle or leg. You need to learn to think of consequences before you accidentally injure someone.

24. Yes. She wasn't hurt, as far as you know, but she could have been hurt badly. What you *have* done is damage the trust she had in her older, supposedly more mature (!), sister. If you'll push her down a few steps, what else might you do? You need to take responsibilty for your actions. Older sisters should protect their younger siblings, not harm them!

25. well thank goodness you two wasnt standing on a bridge when she asked that question.if you were 5 i think the worst i would have done is yelled at you and then put you in the corner to think about what you did...but youre 14,you should have known better, you were lucky that your sister wasnt hurt.yes, you should have been grounded...perhaps next time youll think twice before pushing anyone off of anything

26. Think of it this way... Even though it was just a few steps,, what if your little sister landed wrong and broke her arm? What if she hit her little face on one of the steps and broke a tooth or her nose.... What if your sister twisted her leg and sprained it or broke her leg.. See, even though it was just a few steps, a lot can happen to a youngster with that type of fall.. She is fragile and can be easily broken. I do not think you would want to purposely hurt your sister. However, you could have accidently by pushing her that way.. Two weeks is not that long. This will give you time to think of those "what if's" and understand that your little sister could have been seriously injured.

27. i am fifteen and my sister is 13, we got into a fight and i pushed her, and she fell over a coffee table . my stepmom saw only me pushing her and i got grounded for two weeks. good behavior got me off a bit sooner, so maybe u should do some xtra chores and shell let u off a bit sooner.....
