2. on if ur just chatting...... strobe light if ur having sex
3. off! Its dark mystical, and it gives me a warm feeling. like after drinking hot chocolate (or alcohol ae )

Say I want to be incognito--pretend to be someone else-- I would say that the mysteriousness of little or no light adds to the intrigue.
Then, there are the spirited 'conversations' when a more personal connection is required; lights, candles, flashlights, spot lights, black lights, strobe lights, glow sticks, whatever your medium is used to enhance the experience.
