I have one friend he is Egyptian (Christian) he went to Egypt last month. I told him to Bring me shisha. I tried to pay him but he did not take my money. This month I planned To go to Sweden and decided to bring him something but now my trip is canceled so I am Thinking of giving him something but there is no occasion or anything. Should I wait for Christmas or should I buy something for him. He is very shy and he don’t talk to me that much I don’t want him to thing something else if I give him gift without any occasion.Please tell me should I give him something if yes then what should I buy for him.

1. give him a gift but make sure it's nothing to personal. and write a note saying thank you for being a good friend or something like that...this way he doesn't get the wrong idea.
