Answers:

1. the twist is an old standby

2. Just be your self and have fun! Practice by yourself at home in the mirror..really. And at the dance, shorten the opportunities for dancing. For example, arrive a little late to the dance, take a little scenic drive beforehand. Then make use of dance activities that arent dancing, like beverages, photos, mingling. Then suggest you leave early to get a soda or an ice cream or something.

3. First of all, don't worry about it too much! Dances are for people to just chill and relax (: I know plenty of guys who haven't been to a single dance in their lives either (many are also your age) but are planning to go to our upcoming one. I'm assuming by dancing you mean "freak dancing", and you shouldn't be shy because that defeats the whole purpose! Freaking comes naturally to you...You move by yourself to the beat of the music. If you don't know how, the best way to learn is to watch other people (in your un-stalker manner :]) Also, this girl -- your friend or crush? -- if you feel comfortable enough talking to her about not having attending any dances, maybe she can help you practice! Have fun with it, and don't think too much of what you need to do, but what you want to do! Go for it, and have an awesome first dance (: Hope this helped you a little!

4. just hang out with her throughout the hoel dance. if sehs with her grilbfrineds then dont bother her
