Every once in a while I'll see him hanging out with some girl by now I've figured out her name is Crystal (he told me), but I just see them talking. Never holding hands, never kissing, not even hugging. And no flirting.Could they just be friends?
You see I went to homecoming the other day & I saw him hanging out with her, but then right in front of her he comes up to me says hi and gives me a hug! What the...if that was his girlfriend why would he do that? (This is just me, but if I was with someone I wouldn't pull something like that in front of my boyfriend!).
So in class on Monday we start talking about homecoming and he told me,"I hung out with Crystal." And I'm thinking ok who's Crystal, a friend, your girlfriend....I didn't know how to ask without sounding weird so I didn't even say anything except oh ok.
I barely knew him for 2 months now-it's strange he doesn't hug anyone else in class much but with me he gives me a hug everyday. I just wish I knew if he was available.

1. I hate to be blunt but maybe you should just ask him out! If this girl is his girlfriend then its not like a big rejection and if she's not and he's hugging you then he probably likes you. Its the best way.
If you want a less direct approach you could just check his facebook or myspace page for a girlfriend but that might come off a little weird.
If a guy hugs you and no one else then thats a clear sign he likes you and I doubt he would hug you in front of his girlfriend if he doesn't hug anyone else, like you I wouldn't do that but some people like hugging but as I said, if he doesn't really hug other people its really likely that he's single and that he likes you. Don't worry about this other girl, get in there before she tries to steal him away or something.
2. Well.if i were you i would be happy........you know ,i think this boy likes you but doesn't really know how to tell you.....mabye he is unsure about your feelings..........and he tries to make you jealous with this crystal........they don't seem to b 2gether.mabye he just wants to see your reaction.......you could show him a little interest ya know...
3. Just ask him "is Crystal your girlfriend?" or you can just asume that she is and talk to him like "How's your girlfriend?" And if he says who then you know he doesn't have one and you can say that you thought crystal was. It sounds weird in your head but thats only cos you fancy him. It really is a normal question, you're thinking too much. Just ask him, he won't know you have this massive crush on him.

4. Well,you can ask him.
''Hmm,tell me more about Crystal,she looks like a nice person.Is she your girlfriend or close friend or ...?''
If he doesnt kiss,hug or flirt with her,maybe they're just friends and not more than that.
Anyways,you gotta ask him though.
