Does she like me as a friend or something more?

I am 28 and just started work. During the first day of orientation, I met another girl (also 28). Both of us are PhDs (little weak in the romance department) and shy (atleast I am). We also live in the same apt complex and don't have many friends around (both are new in town). I have known her for 2 weeks now. In this period, we have started carpooling, messaging a lot at work, talking a lot in person for hrs at a time (ranging from random topics to our families), gymming everyday, and having coffee together almost everyday. The other day we watched a game from 11:30 pm through 5 am (don't ask which one) in her bedroom. I spent this entire weekend with her (first helping a friend move, and then visiting the city). She stands really close to me when we talk. I also feel that she behaves differently (tries to be nice) when I am around. She tells me a lot about herself. She remembered by birthday from 1st day orientation and acted like it was no big deal.

Answers:

1. I hope you like her, cause it sure sounds like she likes you alot. She remembered your birthday.... awwwww:) She is investing an awful lot of time in you and seems to be enjoying it. Sounds like the potential for it being the beginning of a very nice relationship:) Good Luck:)

2. Ask her out already...For a real date, get dressed up kinda date. But make it something fun. The best time I ever had was dinner at a Morraccan belly dancing resturaunt. Bring her a flower too so she knows it is a date!!! She likes you, trust me, have someone right now that is kinda doing the same thing (he keeps having me back to his office or lunch for "training") I figure he is either really dumb or I am a bad trainer lol OR he likes me and is scared to ask me out. Just do it and you will know (PS. I think she would say yes, and probably "about time")
