so i met this guy bout 5 months ago, and we were great friends, we didnt get involved at first cuz his ex is pregnant and the child could possibly be his, but things changed, and we ended up dating and faliing in love and getting serious, we spent all summer together hanging out and really got close...the whole time we were dating i asked him if this is what he wanted cause i didnt wanna be a homewrecker and what not, he assured me that the ex was just a mistake he had to deal with in life now...now a month before the babys due he tells me he needs to do the right thing and at least try to work it out with her so the kid will have both parents, but he still wants to be friends we are hanging out, and he treats me so good, but i am still hurt, should i be hanging out with him still, or am i just dragging something out, i know he really loves me and i love him, and i want him to be a dad, but is it always right to do the right thing even when ur heart says no, IDK? someone help me!

1. doing the right thing means to take care of the child . it does not mean he hes to go back to her . Hes using it as a excuse. I think you need to back off and run. You don't need to be in the middle of this. It will be more drama than you want. move on !
2. No! He said that he wanted to be with his kid and be a father. By doing that he knows them well that you love him and by doing that he is hurting you! You know is very hard to be close to someone you love and knowing that you can't never have them. I should suggest that you step away from him! He shouldn't be doing that because he needs to focus now on his family! Just tell him that! Just get away from him! Don't worry you will find someone else that you can share your life with. You know that your relationship is not going to work because the 3 or them have a connection now! So just tell him that he needs to focus on his family and not hang out that much, because by treating you so good he is just messing with your heart.
