1. We went to a few memorable weddings. A fall one, where the colors and everything tied into the season, The favors were huge candy covered caramel or candy apples. There was apple cider and pumpkin juice served... Things of that sort. There was another that did the same thing, except winter, she had this gorgeous gown that just seemed to shimmer like snow, and all the men wore whitish silver vests and ties. Then the favors were real little mini snowmen that were in dryice containers. and there were crystals everywhere. It was beautiful. Another memorable wedding was a luau themed wedding, The dresses and everything all tied in together, and as a favor they gave those little hula girls that you can put in your car cutest little things! And they had a limbo contest while you were getting your wedding cake!

2. Mine was memorable! It was asian themed with fortune cookies, origami, chinese food, and other japanese decorations. The Asian theme came about because we went to Japan for our honeymoon. Everyone enjoyed the Chinese food because we had a large choice so there was something for everyone (veggies, plain chicken, and other traditional Chinese foods). I enjoyed it because I was on a budget (more money for the trip!) and the food was cheaper that way. I did the entire wedding by myself and had a blast doing so.

3. I was just at the most amazing wedding. First of all, they had all diffferent types of cheesecakes for their wedding cake. Second, they had pictures of themselves blown up and everyone signed around the frame. Third, they has slide show of each of them seperately, and then combined the last one with pictures of the two of them. Lastly, they had everything you could imagine in the bathrooms...condoms, tampons, nail polish, those sample size liquor bottles.... They had favors like can coozies they puffy painted their names and the wedding date on. They also reserved rooms at a nearby hotel. Each guest that showed for the reservation was handed a bag of goodies. Lastly---the had an open bar all night long, which really made it worth it!

4. It was 20 years ago and the daughter of one of my parents friends got married. What made it memorable and unique was the singing. Instead of one person singing with music she had a group of people from another church and her musically talented uncle all singing together with no music and they created their own harmony sounds. She also had lots of candles so that they could have the lights dimmed and it set the tone with the singing.

5. i went to my brother's wedding. my sister-in-law's mother is a total bi+ch! i hate that lady with a passion! and no one in her family likes her (she got divorced 2 months after being married, just long enough to get pregnant) here's the story... they did this thing where my parents went up and lit my bro's candle together. then her parents did the same. she walked up there, tripped on the top step (there's like 3) and did a face-plant and broke her nose and knocked a couple of teeth out. so much blood! i was in the back taping the thing, and you can hear me laughing on the camera. she was wearing a dress with a lot of white on it. it turned crimson immediately. maybe I should put it on youtube...

6. i was just in a wedding. it was memorable because of the beautiful location by the water...and also becase the food was incredible. instead of cake, they had individual plates of chocolate mouse, surrounded in a ribbon of dark and white chocolate. also, they had live music...and the band played GOOD stuff, modern music...not crap. there was lots of wonderful wine, which is key, and everyone danced. it was elegant, but the atmosphere was fun and celebratory. the favors where tins of tea....which personally, i didn't really care about...i thought they could have saved the money there. when they left, everyone lined the path and lit sparklers...it was very pretty.

7. Mine was memorable. I got married on the Big Island of Hawaii and it was very small and intimate. We got married in October and then our reception was a couple of weeks later on Halloween night; we had a costume reception.

8. It was fun because there was a constant flow to the day. The guests were never left for more than a few minutes with nothing to do. Constantly there was food, then an announcement, then dancing, then more food, then speeches. There were not long drags in between. It was good as the time seemed to go really quickly because it was fun and we were always occuppied. No wedding is fun when the guests are bored.

9. I'm biased because it's my wedding (this past September). We had our wedding at our city zoo! We had champaign in the monkey/gorrilla exhibit through out the night. It was also a fall/asian theme wedding. With bamboo gold chairs. The wedding favors were animal crackers in chinese take out boxes wrapped in fall colored ribbon. We had silver fortune cookie placecard holders. I thought it was pretty memorable.
