I recently found out that one of my best friend's boyfriend hits her sometimes. I was shocked at first because he always seems like such a nice guy and then I found out that he had been doing it for a long time. She always makes excuses for him like she pissed him off when she didn't come home on time or he always tells her not to bother him when he's mad but she does it anyway. She says it doesn't happen all the time but I'm still afraid for her, I asked her if she wanted to stay with me and my roommate but she said no and she didn't need any help because she can deal with it. And to add insult to injury she's thinking of marrying this man! I don't know what to do because she always pushes me away. What else can I do?
Answers:
1. you should tell someone who can make a difference. somebody she really listens to.. i dont know who that would be... u prolly know though. tell her that it could get more serious and that no girl deserves an abusive bf.
2. Tell someone with more power to help.
Try showing your friend this website.. http://www.snbw.org/
Maybe that will help her see. Tell her she doesn't deserve to be hit she deserves to be loved and hugged. No matter how many times he says sorry just tell her remember the hurt and pain of him hitting her.
Or get her to call 1.800.572.2782 ..
3. Buy her a form fitting black, leather suit, a pair of hand cuffs, a little, red rubber ball on a string and a nice selection of whips. Clearly she's into things that your not.
4. If he's hurting her physically, he's only going to hurt her emotionally worse. Ask her what she would plan on doing if she made a future with him and he started hitting the children as well. would she find that okay? To me this sounds like Spencer Pratt and Heidie Montag from the hills, someone like her doesnt deserve someone who hurts her. First of all this is illegal you could call the cops on him and show just how bad this boy is for her.
