A guy that I'm interested in is older than me, more like 38 and I am 25, will be 26 in December. Does the age difference matter?

16. depends on how you look at it. I mean in this day and age, how old you are doesn't really matter that much as it used to. Age difference doesn't matter as long as the aspect of the relationship doesn't change b/c of it.

18. No, it depends on the maturity level of both parties. My husband and I were 33 years apart, it never mattered to us. Just smile if someone says grandparent or what not if you have a length wise year like we did. He has passed due to a heart condition, but we always discussed that it didnt bother us. IF it bothers you, then I say find something else.

Its hard enough to find someone interesting there is no sense in limiting yourself. Plus there is a lot of pros to dating an older man. My grand mother was 24 my grand pa 35 when they got married and still together (74- 84) Some people are more mature than they are and are more comfortable dating older guy. Age a has a big factor in it. you have expirenced 12 years more stuff then she have. there is a lot that she is going to want to do. She might not stay loyal over time.

28. The rule of thumb is half of the oldest person age plus seven should be the minimum age of his/her partner. He is 38, half is 19, plus seven is 26. So you are on the border.
