i'm 5'3, with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. im not ugly but doesn't it seem like the guys all go for the all-american type girls... and it seems like i can only be called "cute" --never pretty cuz of my shortness

1. The tallest any of my ex wives has been is 5'4".
2. A lot of guys really like short girls, especially if you have a tiny little frame. =)
(I should know, I'm 5'2" and I weigh 105 lbs.)
And as for your dark hair and dark eyes...
I've heard that MOST men actually prefer brunettes over blondes.
If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about my appearance.
3. one things for sure, short guys will like you. The all american girl may be blonde or whatever but hair color doesn't matter. Almost all the girls i've ever liked anyway were brown haired. They usually have better personalities
4. Im 6'4 215 pound guy and i always dated smaller woman. I always dated woman about 5'2 - 5'7. I also never dated blonds i have always dated brunettes or exotic woman... Im blue eyes and blond hair but thats never what i have gone for.....
