so i told my friend jeff that i like his friend josh. i told jeff it was aight to tell josh that i like him. then i asked jeff what josh thought of that and he said josh texted "ok. wait so what now.....i dont exactly like her that way." so he clearly doesnt like me but its no surprise to me. no guy has ever liked me. i'm not exactly the prettiest girl ever but i;m definitley not ugly or fat. i've just never had a bf before and now i'm starting to get frustrated about finding a decent guy who will like me as well. btw i'm a senior in high school. so what should i expect from him tomorrow in class. will he totally ignore me? should i approach him about it? what now?
Answers:
1. No, you shouldn't approach him. It's always best to tell someone how you feel yourself, instead of relaying the message to a middle man to do it for you. How do you know that Josh wanted to tell Jeff that he liked you? He could've been embarrassed, but honestly if he really did like you, he would have approached you himself. If he can't be mature enough to do that and he's a senior in h/s, move on and wait for a mature MAN to come your way, not a little kid. He just doesn't feel the same way you do, that doesn't make him a bad guy, just not interested. Move on.
I didn't have my first boyfriend until 2 years after I graduated from h/s and I didn't lose my virginity until I was 19. Know why? Because that's when I met the guys who were worthy enough to be my man and be the one to take my virginity from me. They later on down the line, turned into complete idiots, but they were good guys in the beginning, who I felt were good enough to have me. Wait for the right guy, don't go chasing or searching, that's when you get desperate and settle for less than you're worth. Take care and best wishes!
