Who do ppl throw the word around "love" so much?

1. I agree very very very very much. Young girls like to feel loved. Especialy ones who had a hard life. It is sad. But, you live, you learn, no regrets.

5. They don't know what love is, because it does not have an exact meaning. Everyone has their own definition of what love is. That is why you find someone who is on the same intelligence and maturity level as you are. Tends to help! lol

6. i completely agree!! i think that its so much deeper than people use it these days, and one of my boyfriends a couple months ago would always say i love you, and it wasn't a serious relationship or anything and it freaked me out! i didn't say it back but then he'd get all offended and i tried to explain to him that i wasnt gonna say it if i didnt mean it and he was like well everyone says it, it doesnt have the same meaning anymore. but it does to me! im so glad im not the only one!

8. love is seen as the most you know, not the most that can be. So people will always throw it around. It is annoying though.

9. I don't know how old you are???? but in the young crowd that seems to be the popular word, I think kids say it in an endearing way. I used to work in a casino restaurant, and the younger kids would always say see ya later love ya???? of course I was the oldest one there, and maby they thought of me as a mother figure????? but yes it dose get thrown around alot

10. its why so many people have no idea what love is. we use it so much. 'i love that shirt', 'i love that car', 'i love that movie'. its like the more you use it, the less meaning there is to it. I'm not gonna tell anyone i love them unless, i know i do. love is a powerful word, and it shouldnt' just be thrown around. when we do that, we take away the meanin of the word.

11. funny you say that. I learned my lesson when I was 17. I have told exactly 5 women that I loved them. I married 4 of them. My children hear it every time I see them. I do so love them. When i was 17 , in the heat of passion I told a girl that I loved her , she quickly told me that she didn't love me. I said you're right. We continued , but since that Day , I love you meant will you marry me.

12. i know. my bff keirstin said dat to her bf da same day they got together. and with her ex she was i love him so much. i was love is such a powerful word. it can change da way you look at things. they have broken up (IT WAS MY FAULT). they still like eachother a hole lot. but like she say to him over text i love you to death. and we got ina fight just cuz she said dat. cuz like she never says it to me. all she says is bakk at ya. and well love is da most powerful word like ever

13. I agree. I will admit that I start to call people my friends, when I've only known them for a short period of time. That's not a good thing but, it's the truth. Love is just the first word that comes to mind, when you feel strongly about someone. This kind of goes hand in hand, with girls equating sex to love. Thinking that just because some guy is moaning and telling you "you're the best", while you're screwing him, doesn't mean he loves you, he may love your sex, but not you. At the end of the day, deep down everyone wants to come home to somebody after a hard day of work and snuggle up on the couch to a hot cup of cocoa and a "Grey's Anatomy" episode. We aren't patient enough to wait for REAL love anymore, so we are quick to slap the love title on all the frivolous relationships that we have, before real love comes. That's just my opinion though.
